Fine ground high-calcium lime

Application

Fine ground high-calcium lime from FELS is primarily used in the building materials industry (sand-lime bricks, autoclaved aerated concrete, etc.), environmental protection, the chemical industry and earthworks.

Production

After the calcination (burning), pebble limes are ground by various grinding systems with subsequent screening to produce fine high-calcium lime with particle sizes < 0.1 mm. The selection of pebble limes by the degree of calcination and grain size allows for the adjustment of defined reactivity levels of the fine ground high-calcium lime.
