Application

High-calcium lump lime from FELS is primarily used in the iron and steel industry, the chemical industry, as well as in environmental protection applications, such as the rehabilitation of polluted areas. The individual products are tailored to the needs of our customers and are subject to permanent control by our laboratories.

Production

Various types of high-calcium lump lime are produced by burning (calcining) crushed, washed and sized limestone with natural gas, oil or coal in our lime production plants. These vary in line with the customers’ needs with regard to reactivity, grain sizes and whiteness.
