Soil stabilization

In addition to the effects of soil improvement, soil stabilization is a suitable means of increasing long-term resistance to future traffic and climate impacts. The addition of Fels mixed binders makes floors or building materials permanently load-bearing and frost-resistant. The high natural content of water in the soil often makes it difficult to work on the subsoil. Necessary compaction values cannot be achieved in this way. Here the use of Fels mixed binders is required.

The use of lime leads to a reduction in water content and crumb formation, which in turn brings the following advantages:

  1. Improvement of plasticity properties
  2. Improvement of compactibility
  3. Durable load capacity
  4. Insensitivity to water
  5. Permanent frost resistance
