Funding enables automation of shunting operations at the Rübeland lime works

A TeleTrac from Windhoff was procured for the Rübeland lime works in order to automate the automatic shunting operation in the loading area. The major advantage is that the employee no longer has to remain on site after the wagons have been delivered and can carry out other activities during automated loading.

The purchase was funded with 50% as part of the federal program “Future Rail Freight Transport” of the German Centre for Rail Transport Research at the Federal Railway Authority.
