Application

The main areas of application for Fels white lime are the iron and steel industry, the chemical industry and applications in environmental protection, such as remediation of contaminated sites. The products are customised on a case-by-case basis and are subject to constant monitoring by our laboratories.

Production

Various types of lime are produced in our lime plants by burning crushed, washed and classified limestone with natural gas, oil or coal. These differ according to customer requirements in terms of reactivity, grain size and degree of whiteness.
